On Aug. 29 Luke Dashjr posted that SHA-2 miners should stop mining Saturday so Knots 29.4.1rc4 can lock the final SHA-2 block. After the New York Post Sunday-morning print, he plans to post a canonical blake2b_headline to begin the new chain. The step follows a BIP-110 minority chain that stalled after two blocks roughly three weeks earlier.
